What did I get myself into???!

I will be asking myself this question numerous times for sure. Nick and I are following Raid de Himalaya, we’ve been assigned a number but not competitive although we are taking the same route as the Xtreme category and not the Adventure category. Rules for us include not passing people up. Will Nick follow that is the question! He has a competitive streak in him. I’m in Shimla, in two hours Nick should be arriving with the bike all the way from Delhi (8 hour ride–finally got it our to customs), Nick has been up 24 hours, we have to be at the starting line in 4 hours. You can do the math and then call us whacked out of our minds. Shimla is a beautiful place and I’d love to gush about it but I’m going to try to sleep for an hour before Nick comes.
